Abstract:In this study, we investigated amylin‐like substance distribution in the pancreas of Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica) using a specific anti‐rat amylin serum. We detected amylin‐immunoreactive cells dispersed in the pancreatic extra‐islet region but not in the islet region.
