Abstract:Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is an aggressive, highly metastatic, cutaneous neuroendocrine malignancy with poor prognosis. Here, we describe a MCC excision specimen with a rare case of tumor-associated amyloid deposition in the absence of residual tumor cells.
