Abstract:Amyloid goiter is an extremely rare condition. It results from amyloid infiltration of the thyroid, typically associated with AL (primary) or AA (secondary) amyloidosis, and has occasionally been linked to diffuse fatty infiltration or papillary thyroid carcinoma.
