An 8-year-old with a unilateral droopy eyelid

Abstract: An otherwise healthy 8-year-old boy was referred to Baylor Scott & White Hospital by his pediatrician for evaluation of drooping of the left upper eyelid of 6 months’ duration. The patient’s parents reported that the drooping had become worse over the preceding 6 months, with associated mild blurring of vision in the left eye.
