Abstract

Summary.A decrease in ceiltilaritj' of tlie hone-marrow has been observed in sheep that consume a cobalt-deficient diet, whether or not they are supplemented with Mtamin Bj^. This abnormality is accompanied by u reduction in white blood cell a)unt and in the rate of erythropoiesis following withdrawal of a lurge quantity of htood.Parenteral administration of cobalt has no apparent effect on the course of the malady.INTRODUCTION.
