An accurate asymptotic formula for the viscosity of liquids

Abstract

Using a recently developed asymptotic approach for solving a quadratic transcendental equation, I derive here an asymptotic formula for the viscosity of liquids. I also show here that this formula provides a very accurate analytical tool for a direct experimental determination of the viscosity of liquids.
