In Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WSANs), the good connectivity is one of the most important prerequisites to ensure them working properly. Especially for the interactuator networks in WSANs, the connectivity is crucial for actuators to cooperate with each other to execute tasks correctly and efficiently. The paper proposes a Vertex-cut based Topology Repair algorithm (CVTR) which can maintain the connectivity of inter-actuator networks through relocating one-hop neighbors of failure nodes. The simulation experiment results show that CVTR can more effectively repair the connectivity of inter-actuator networks with much lower coverage loss and less number of nodes moved, comparing with the important and typical algorithm RIM.
