An Analysis of Energy and Internal Flow Characteristics of Open Inlet Channel Axial Flow Pumping Devices

Abstract: For the purpose of studying the dynamic and inner flow features of an open inlet channel axial flow pump unit, in the present study, numerical calculations using the SST k-ω turbulence model are applied to an open inlet channel axial flow pumping unit based on the NS equation, and experimental validation is then performed.
