This chapter examines the challenges and opportunities associated with the integration of implementing learning management systems (LMS) at a Zimbabwean university. It provides a brief overview of the current state of LMS integration in the country and highlights some of the challenges that have been faced, such as limited technical expertise and poor internet connectivity. It then goes on to discuss the benefits of LMS integration, including improved learning outcomes, enhanced student engagement, and increased access to educational resources. The chapter is based on case studies of universities that have recently implemented an LMS and explores the experiences of students, faculty, and administrators. The chapter found that the LMS was seen as a valuable tool for improving teaching and learning, but it also presented challenges related to technical issues, user training, and institutional culture.
