Abstract: Food waste is a huge problem across the world, but it's especially bad in developed countries such as Malaysia, according to the previous study. It is estimated that 1.3 billion tonnes of food are lost or wasted every year, accounting for one-third of all food produced for human consumption. Hence, the goal of this study is to supplement the solution within the framework of product design process based on the evaluation of food waste behaviour among household in Malaysia. As an approach for acquiring empirical… Show more

“…The interview and observation were recorded using Zoom Q2 HD Video Recorder, and the video was processed using AVS Video Editor Software. The theoretical framework of the observation will be focus on behaviour analysis of the Malaysian CP patients (Austin & Delaney, 1998;Zainal Abidin, Christoforidou & Liem, 2009;Kamil, Zainal Abidin & Hassan, 2018;Kamil, Zainal Abidin & Hassan, 2019b;Kamil, Shi & Sani, 2020;Kamil & Sani, 2021;Kamil, Hua & Sani, 2022). To extract the clear explanation and build the abstract thinking of the parent or the guardian, the analysis of interview in recorded video was systematically coded into information categories (Glaser & Strauss, 2017;Kamil, Zainal Abidin & Hassan, 2019a).…”

“…Product design is a discipline that has emerged as playing a crucial part in the development of an innovative product. Incorporating a various aspect into product design through researching human behaviour, challenges, materials, and demands is one of the current methods for raising human value and product quality (Kamil & Abidin, 2013;Kamil and Abidin, 2015;Matos et al, 2014;Kamil & Abidin, 2014a;Kamil & Abidin, 2014b;Kamil, Abidin & Hassan, 2018;Sani et al, 2019;Kamil, Abidin & Hassan, 2019a;Kamil, Abidin & Hassan 2019b;Chumiran, Abidin & Kamil, 2020;Kamil, Shi & Sani, 2020;Sani et al, 2020;Kamil & Sani, 2021;Kamil, Ying & Sani, 2022;Kamil, Hua & Sani, 2022).…”
