An analysis of Thysanoptera associated with the flowers of some stone fruits in Mersin Province (Türkiye): composition, distribution, population dynamics and damage status

Abstract: The distribution, abundance and damage status of Thysanoptera species were investigated in two different regions of Mersin Province, Türkiye between 2020 and 2021. A total of 18 Thysanoptera species were determined, with Thrips major Uzel, 1895 and Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande, 1895) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) being the most common.
