“…The model's accuracy is examined on the basis of jUj and Y by two typhoons, T9119 and T0314, which caused great damage in Japan. jUj and Y of the former were measured at 100 m elevation (Meng et al, 1995) and the observation point is at the foot of a range of mountains.
