Abstract:ABSTRACT-Background:Women of all races and ethnicities are at risk of cervical cancer. India, around 0.95 million new cases are detected yearly with high burden of 0.63 million. India bears about one fifth of the world's burden of cervical cancer. Although fatality is high but cancers are largely preventable by effective screening programmes.
