Abstract

A primary goal of the Performance-Based Operations (PBO) concept is to allow regulations and procedural requirements to be outlined in a set of general performance terms. The PBO framework seeks to specify the minimum system performance requirements for any given NextGen operation without explicitly recommending any methodologies or technologies to meet these requirements.
