Abstract:The paper describes an ecologically pure energy-saving process of rapid steam oxide coating and special equipment for its realization consisting of a bath electric furnace with a steam-fluidized layer. The causes of the considerable increase in the corrosion resistance of powder materials after a rapid steam oxide coating compared to the convection method and the possibilities of using rapid oxide coating instead of the chemical processes (oxidophosphating, phosphating with impregnation) are considered.
