An effect of contact melting in the Sikhote-Alin iron meteorite after isentropic spherical shock waves loading

Abstract: Представлены результаты изучения методами растровой электронной и оптической микроскопии особенностей структурных изменений образцов метеорита Сихотэ-Алинь, претерпевших сферическое взрывное нагружение. Подробно проанализированы участки метеорита Сихотэ-Алинь со структурой, связанной с проявлением контактного плавления на межфазной границе камасит (α-Fe(Ni,Co), Ni<7,5 %)-рабдит ((Fe,Ni) 3 P).
