An Efficient Approach for Uncertainty Analysis in Multidisciplinary Design Optimization

Abstract: Abstract. In this paper, an efficient multidisciplinary design optimization method based on evidence theory is proposed. Evidence theory is used to quantify uncertainty in terms of uncertainty measures of belief and plausibility.
