An Efficient Synthesis of 1,3‐Diphenyl‐3‐phenylamino‐propan‐1‐one and its Derivatives by Mannich Reaction in the Presence of Doped Porous Carbon by Nitrogen and Sulfur (NS‐PCS) as Catalyst
Abstract:Synthesis of β‐amino carbonyl compounds by Mannich reaction between acetophenone, aromatic aldehydes and aromatic amines has been efficiently catalyzed by porous carbon spheres doped by nitrogen and sulfur (NS‐PCS) at ambient temperature in good to excellent yields.
The current study highlighted the significance of β-aminoketones as privileged biologically active molecules, recent synthetic strategies, and synthetic applications.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
