“…Our previous study provided a new approach for the synthesis of novel pyrimido[1,2a]pyrimidines in high yields by reactions of 2-aminopyrimidines with diethyl ethoxymethylenemalonate (EMME) using microwave irradiation and conventional heating and published elsewhere [15].
