An efficient technique‐based distributed energy management for hybrid MG system: A hybrid QOCSOS‐RF technique

Abstract: This paper proposes an efficient hybrid approach-based energy management strategy (EMS) for grid-connected microgrid (MG) system. The primary objective of the proposed technique is to reduce the operational electricity cost and enhanced power flow between the source side and load side subject to power flow constraints. The proposed control scheme is a consolidated execution of both the random forest (RF) and quasioppositional-chaotic symbiotic organisms search algorithm (QOCSOS), and it is named as QOCSOS-RF. … Show more

“…The subplot Figure 18A–F depicts the cost comparison of the proposed versus FA, proposed versus ALO, proposed versus RF‐FA, proposed versus QOCSOS‐RF, proposed versus OSA, and proposed versus SOA techniques, respectively. The efficiency of the recent strategy is gathered by comparing the outcomes with other approaches like FA, 52 ALO, 53 RF‐FA, 52 QOCSOS‐RF, 54 OSA, and SOA strategy. The battery is operated normally under the charging mode when the time interval t = 1–12 h. In these plots, operating costs and the overall cost of SO 2 SA technique are low rather than the other techniques.…”

“…Liu and Ding [27] studied distributed energy resources and concluded that customer satisfaction should be satisfied for the sustainability of these projects. Chen et al [28] aimed to generate an efficient distributed energy management system technique. They determined that the customers' expectations should be satisfied for the performance improvements.…”

“…Chen et al 35 have proposed a hybrid two‐stage energy management technique for optimally managing the power flow across the distributed grid‐tied microgrid which includes renewable PV, wind energy system, fuel‐cell, and energy storage elements. The first stage is focused on optimizing the electricity cost using the quasi‐opposition‐based chaotic‐symbiotic organism search technique and power balancing is achieved in the subsequent stage by reducing the prediction errors for optimal demand prediction through the rain forest technique.…”
