An Electromagnetic Lock Actuated by a Mobile Phone Equipped with a Self-Made Laser Pointer

Abstract: The main purpose of this study was to create an acousto-optic control lock device to convert electrical signals with a specific sound command using an acousto-optic conversion module, thereby improving the reliability and safety of opening or closing remote controlled door locks, such as car central locks or rolling doors. We used music playing through a smart phone speaker to create a special laser pointer to connect with the smart phone‘s auxiliary input. The laser pointer (wavelength of 630–650 nm and maxim… Show more

“…The highest score value got 222.6 from a maximum of 255. Lock system based Short Message Service (SMS) gateway (Hamas et al, 2021), unlocked by phone (Perng & Hsieh, 2019), and RFID with access to unlock using Electronic Kartu Tanda Penduduk (E-KTP) (Najib et al, 2021) has disadvantage where if the user forgets left their phone and E-KTP, they can't access to unlock and lock. The research conducted by (Hoque & Davidson, 2019) just discussed the reed sensor that can detect if the door environment opens and does not discuss how to give the lock system yet.…”

“…A six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) robot arm with a gripper will conduct experiments to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system. Perng et al reported "An Electromagnetic Lock Actuated by a Mobile Phone Equipped with a Self-Made Laser Pointer" [5]. “…Current non-implantable bone conduction research focuses on analyzing the transducer’s mechanical vibration signal [ 10 ] and the mathematical model of mechanical wave transmission in the skull [ 11 ]. A study of the transducer’s mechanical model shows that the transducer’s frequency can be described as the vibration of the mass and the damping and elastic coefficient of the system [ 12 ]. The study partly discusses the loss of mechanical wave transmission paths in soft tissue [ 13 ].…”
