Abstract:A modernized electronic unit for a feedback circuit of a negative feedback laser is described. The modernization of the unit resulted in expanding (approximately up to 1 GHz) the feedback circuit bandwidth. Attained characteristics together with the negative feedback effect allowed the laser to be switched to the mode locking operation, and this was demonstrated by the example of an Nd-glass laser.
