The Internet of Things (IoT) has great importance in the medical industry. The creation of intelligent sensors, intelligent machines, and superior algorithms for lightweight communication made it feasible to connect medical equipment in order to monitor biomedical signals and also to detect illnesses in patients without human intervention. This new IoT and medical equipment connection is called IoMT. This IoMT model is most adapted to this pandemic since every human being has to be interconnected and monitored via a larger communication network. Hence, this article provides an overview of remote healthcare systems, monitoring ingestible sensors, mobile health, smart hospitals, and improved chronic disease management focused on the Internet of Medical Things. Finally, this paper proposes an IoMT architecture and platform to assist with persistent healthcare.

This paper presents a comprehensive survey of security needs, applications, and current challenges and threats for 6G wireless communication networks. 6G technology has brought much attention to business entities and academia recently. The development of a relevant 6G wireless technology to meet the security issues and technical challenges of 5G networks as well as major system upgrades over previous wireless technologies are discussed. The importance of the comparative study is estimated for security issues and communication of devices like wireless devices and focuses on creative innovations that would offer the progression changes required for empowering 6G. First, the authors present the evolution and security threats landscape of wireless communication networks. Then they explore the potential applications of 6G networking technologies. Finally, this paper concludes with a detailed discussion of security issues, research challenges, and possible solutions in 6G that enable critical technologies.

Coronavirus disease 2019 is a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus. The propagation of the virus has been exponential; currently, COVID-19 cases are present worldwide in 213 countries, areas, or territories. Globally researchers are working and sharing their input on COVID-19 epidemiology, prevention, treatment, and clinical and diagnostic trends. This paper contains a brief historical and comparative overview of selected pandemics, particularly concerning the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the global economy. When new patients are diagnosed, the epidemiological information provided in the paper is subject to change and the status of current cases is updated on a regular basis.
