Abstract:This study reports on experimentally enhancing the performance of a concentric double pipe heat exchanger using nanofluid and refrigerant vapor under constant wall temperature con-ditions. Ferro-nanoparticles with diameters of 80 nm are distributed in distilled water with volume concentrations of 0.1-0.7 % (nanofluid), which is used as hot fluid flowing turbulently inside the inner tube with Reynolds numbers ranging from 3900 to 11800, while refrigerant vapor produced from the refrigeration unit is used as col… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
