The recoilless fraction f and the SOD data for the Sn as impurity in 107Pd,19iA4u, and63.jCu are annlysed for any force constant change in the framework of Mennheim'smodel, using the experimentally determined phonon frequency distribution function for the hosts. Furthermore, correction for enharmonicity is applied, wherever necessary. On thc basis of f-values, the force constant ratio A'/A turns out to be 0.46 i 0.02, 0.SG f 0.04, and 0.58 i 0.03, respectively, for the systems loiPd:ll%n, 1977tZu:ll%n, and 63.6Cti:119Sn. A11 these cases are of weak binding. This conclusion is at variance with an earlier report of strong binding for the system 107Pd:ll%n. Expectedly no locnlizcd modes are found to exist for either of the systems.
