An Evaluation of Burn Infections Caused by Multidrug Resistant A.baumannii and the Treatment Approach

Abstract: Background: If not treated properly, A.baumannii infections in burn patients may cause delays in wound healing, graft losses, or even development of sepsis that may lead to death in cases where the bacteria enters the systemic circulation. In this study, our aim is to present the treatment options and their results in patients where burn infections due to multidrug resistant (MDR) A.baumannii have been diagnosed.
