“…, the potassium‐titanyl‐phosphate (KTP)‐neodynium: YAG laser (wavelength: 532 nm). The combined use of an ablative laser and a vascular laser, in our experience, leads to the best results and represents the best choice for the local treatment of angiokeratomas (7, 8).…”

“…A limited localization to one half of the scrotum has been described (7). Occasionally, the condition will affect the shaft of the penis, but the glans penis is affected only in exceptional cases (8). The condition is characterized by a loose, but sometimes also dense, distribution of papules that are pinhead to pea‐sized, more or less elevated, clearly delimited, compressible, and livid‐red or bluish‐black.…”

“…In most cases, the lesions are strictly limited to the scrotum, with unilateral involvement being an uncommon clinical feature. Exceptionally, the shaft and even the glans of the penis may be involved (3). The association of scrotal and oral angiokeratomas has rarely been reported (4).…”

“…As angiokeratomas are benign lesions, a therapeutic regimen, which can include excision, electrodesiccation, cryotherapy, or laser treatment, may be useful if symptoms are present or for cosmetic reasons. In our experience, angiokeratomas may be treated with a 532 nm KTP (frequency doubled Nd: YAG) laser with variable pulse widths between 2 ms and 10 ms, leading to excellent cosmetic results (3). If marked hyperkeratosis is present, preceding treatment with scanned carbon dioxide laser vaporization may be useful.…”

“…PEAKER-associated symptoms were observed in 39% (16 of 41) of men. These included bleeding (12 men) [5,7,8,16,23,25], current report, increasing size of the lesions (10 men) [5,7,11,16,17,25], abrupt onset of new lesions (2 men) [17,21], pain (2 men) [16], current report, and/or pruritus (2 men) [7], current report. Multiple symptoms were experienced by ten men: two symptoms (eight men) [5,7,25], current report, or three symptoms (two men) [7,16].…”
