Multi-membered N-heterocycles R 0690An Expeditious Preparation of 15-Membered Nitrogen-Containing Olefinic and Benzo Macrocycles. -Easy, versatile and efficient preparations of 15-membered triazamacrocycles containing internal olefins or fused benzene rings starting from easily available materials are described. Macrocycles (VII) and (IX) exhibit high coordinating ability towards Cr(0), but the Cr (0) complexes are too insoluble for further studies. Coordination with silver is very weak. -(SEBASTIAN*, R.
