An FFT-Based Formulation for the Computation of Electromagnetic Scattering From 3-D, Perfectly Conducting Bodies

Abstract: An FFT‐based formulation for the computation of electromagnetic scattering from 3‐D, perfectly conducting objects is presented. The formulation solves the EFIE iteratively via a conjugate gradient scheme and has the major advantage of a low storage requirement for scatterers in the resonance region.
