Abstract: Sensitive skin manifests as a syndrome defined by the occurrence of unpleasant sensations such as stinging, burning, pain, pruritus, and tingling. 1,2 Clinical signs of sensitive skin include erythema, scaling, and edema. 3 Prevalence of sensitive skin in general population can be as high as over 50%. 4,5 While not life-threatening, signs and symptoms can negatively impact the quality of people's lives.
