Abstract:The instability and destruction of various types of coal pillars left in deep underground mining are frequently attributed to cumulative creep deformation exceeding the permissible limit, with high in situ stress playing a critical role in this phenomenon. To understand the complicated creep behavior of coal, triaxial compression creep tests were conducted. It has been proven that the coal specimens subjected to high confining pressure exhibit typical three-stage creep characteristics. Furthermore, with the in… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
