Abstract: A paper on " An Improved Method of Determining Small Percentages of Gold and Silver in Base Metal," by Mr. Cabell Whitehead, of Washington, D. C., was read by Dr. D. K. Tuttle. It was followed by an interesting discussion. The paper was referred for publication in the Journal Mr. F. Lynwood Garrison then gave a number of views of the recently conducted armor-plate tests at Indian Head proving ground.
