Abstract:Velocity is an essential parameter in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system design. The conventional velocity calculation model is not applicable for Geosynchronous Earth Orbit Synthetic Aperture Radar (GEO SAR), so an improved velocity calculation model is proposed in this paper.
