An information system success model for e-learning postadoption using the fuzzy analytic network process

Abstract: The underutilization of e-learning among university lecturers is an important issue that needs to be resolved. This study aimed to formulate an e-learning postadoption model for Malaysian universities. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires involving 36 e-learning experts who from lecturers in public and private universities in Malaysia. The data collected was then analyzed using the extent analysis method proposed by Chang ( European Journal of Operational Research, … Show more

“…How much the course content is updated and timely uploaded is a vital aspect (Pour et al, 2021;Roszak et al, 2021). Hii et al (2023), in their study, developed a post-adoption model for e-learning for universities in Malaysia based on the ISS model. According to their study, service quality, system quality, content quality and learner and instructor characteristics were the most important factors for e-learning postadoption in universities.…”

“…Freeze et al (2010) conferred that the e-learning environment is a process where collaborative efforts support the acquisition of knowledge, and these activities are performed under the supervision of a digital system. A new e-learning platform has been created for learners, particularly for students at universities and colleges, through the integration of communication technologies and the system (Hii et al, 2023). The HEIs in Oman consist of private and public universities and colleges, and the e-learning environment and system have increased in recent years (Ramesh et al, 2023).…”

“…In a different context, Allahviranloo et al [48] explore the application of the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) in a fuzzy environment, providing a theoretical foundation. Additionally, Hii et al [49] focus on e-learning postadoption success, introducing a model based on the fuzzy ANP to evaluate information system success. Oubahman and Duleba [50] employ a fuzzy PROMETHEE model to analyze public transport mode choice, offering an innovative approach to addressing the complexity of decision-making in transportation planning.…”

“…The integration of innovative information technologies (IT) into higher education has been one of the main topics of many studies in pedagogy over the past decades (Chan & Lee, 2023; Hii et al, 2023). A variety of innovative literary formats can become new entry points into the world of literature (Naji et al, 2019).…”
