Abstract:Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) piezoelectric nanofibers were fabricated through near-field electrospinning (NFES) to develop a flexible piezoelectric element. Innovative screen printing technology was employed to produce bend-type electrodes designed with d 33 mode patterns. The electrodes and PVDF nanofibers were then attached to a polyimide film substrate. Compared with piezoelectric ceramics, piezoelectric fibers are inexpensive, flexible, and highly biocompatible. They also have a higher electron density t… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
