Abstract:A novel Schiff base (BSSMO) and its copper complex have been synthesized, and their structure was delineated using single crystal XRD studies. Computational techniques were used to design and evaluate BSSMO‐based luminophores, revealing a significant intramolecular hydrogen bond within the molecule.
