Abstract:The exhaust gases from petroleum refineries contain carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and oxides of other compounds. Methods such as adsorption, absorption, membrane separation, chemical conversion and electrostatic separators can be used for the removal of these gases from the gaseous mixtures.
