An integrated intelligent computing method for the detection and interpretation of ECG based cardiac diseases

Abstract: Intelligent computing system and knowledge-based system have been widely used in the diagnosis and classification of ECG based diseases. Several detection methods of ECG parameters for a particular disease have also been reported in the literature. But little effort has been made by researchers to combine both. In this work, an integrated model of rule base system for generating cases and ANN methods for matching cases in the case base reasoning model for the interpretation and diagnosis of sinus disturbances … Show more

“…ECG indicates an electrical activity of heart which provides cardiologists to extract the useful information about the functioning of the heart [1], [2], [3]. Any disorder in the heart, leads towards the Heart Disease often detected by an ECG signal [4], [5], [6], [7]. Some of the common heart diseases are Coronary, Arrhythmia, and Myocardial Infarction.…”

“…Likely, the physio-psycho factors and parameters based on EEG play an important role to diagnose sleep disorders. Pandey and Mishra [1], [2] originated an intelligent model to diagnose the diseases based on ECG and EMG. Some analysts have described intelligent techniques for the diagnosis of sleep disorders [1], [2] and [3], but there is a lag to diagnose EEG based disease using physio-psycho factors including RBR and CBR.…”
