An intelligent framework using disruptive technologies for COVID-19 analysis

Abstract: Highlights A review of COVID-19 guidelines ensures the need of disruptive technologies. COVID-19 enforces healthcare system to find alternatives for patients' treatment. The disruptive technologies used to analyze and to restrict the spread of COVID-19. The study aids healthcare team to detect the plan of treatment remotely and safely. The analysis of COVID-19 patients ensures the importance of intelligent framework.

“…Robots are widely suggested to be deployed in different scenarios during the pandemic, to help reduce the infection by performing disinfection, monitoring, delivering, food preparation, and telepresence [ [8] , [9] , [10] , [11] , [12] , [13] , [14] , [15] , [16] ]. Robots are also recommended to make intelligent decisions based on the inputs data from the population, which can be analysed through AI [ 17 ].…”

“…Ultimately, from a general perspective, the authors in Abdel-Basset et al ( 2021b ) describe and discuss a combination of different technologies for COVID-19 analysis. Such technologies fusion include AI, industry 4.0, IoT, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), big data, virtual reality (VR), Drone technology, Autonomous Robots, 5G, and blockchain to deliver jointly innovative solutions.…”

“…Finally, we would like to reflect on the importance of these techniques, their relationship with the pandemic caused by COVID19 and its economic, social, and business consequences (Al Eid and Arnout, 2020 ). Although it is true that the proposed explanatory and predictive model could never have predicted the appearance of this disease and its consequences, we consider that it would be interesting to periodically assess the proposal update in order to verify that factors of a health nature such as the one suffered in the last year may influence the results achieved and above all, to know the possible modifications that can be proposed for the future, as well as their influence on business decision making (Abdel-Basset et al, 2021 , Sharma and Gupta, 2021 ).…”
