Abstract:Takayasu arteritis (TA) is an autoimmune vasculitis with unknown etiology. It can have varied presentations ranging from nonspecific symptoms to florid vasculitic symptoms. Awareness of the complications of this disease is also vital in managing patients who are already diagnosed with TA.
