An investigation of poor prognostic factors in patients with alopecia areata and their relatives

Abstract: Background and Design: Alopecia areata (AA) is characterized by non-ciatricial hair loss with exacerbations and remissions. Although its etiopathogenesis is not known, autoimmune factors have been suggested.
