An investigation of rotation rate sensitivity of a quantum optomechanical gyroscope with two coupled cavities

Abstract: In this article, we have shown the design of a quantum optomechanical gyroscope, which is formed by combining a Michelson interferometer with a quantum optomechanical cavity coupled with a simple Fabry-Perot cavity, all located on a rotating table. The optomechanical cavity contains one movable mirror. The movement of the mirror is in both directions of the cavity axis(x-direction) and perpendicular to it(y-direction).
