Abstract:Synchronous generators are widely used in power generation systems. Static air-gap eccentricity (SAGE) often occurs in synchronous generators due to the component wear over prolonged operation. This paper presents a comprehensive mathematical model specifically tailored for SAGE fault, incorporating for the influence of stator slotting.
