“…ions [20] at positions 12k, 2a, 2b with spin up and 4f1, 4f2 with spin down. Thus, the total magnetic moment depends on the number of spin ups and spins down on the material [17].…”

“…Hexaferrites (M, W, X, U, Y, Z types) have a signi cant request in daily life during the last decades. Among them, Strontium-based M-type hexaferrite ( MFe 12 O 19 ) is a paramount demand for different industrial, military, and home equipment applications [1][2].In this context, SrFe 12 O 19 emerges exemplary features involving relatively large saturation magnetization, high coercive force, outstanding Curie temperature, pronounced magneto-crystalline anisotropy, excellent chemical and thermal stability, high dielectric constant, low conductive losses, corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, andsimple accessibility [3][4][5][6]. Due to such superior properties, SrFe 12 O 19 is a multidisciplinary technological componentindispensablefor refrigerator magnets, permanent magnets, recording media, automotive industries, microwave devices, sensors, biomedicine, photocatalyst, magneto-optics devices, magnetic uids, sound devices, electric motors, generators, etc.…”

“…Khandani et al formed a Ce-Nd doped Sr hexagonal ferrite that has given absorption properties in the X-band range. The observed RL was −8.7 dB at 2.5 mm thickness [6]. Singh et al experimented to find the effect of doping on microwave absorption.…”

“…Veisi [18]. Later Khandani et al had also done a synthesis of Ce-Nd doped Sr hexaferrite and observed −37 dB RL at 9.62 GHz at 2.5 mm thickness [19]. A comparison is done between the microwave absorption property of Ba hexaferrite with and without doping by Scozeri et al [20] and found maximum RL of −41 dB with Cr 3+ doping and −33 dB RL without doping in X-band.…”
