Abstract:New onset of agitation during pregnancy is an obstetric and behavioral emergency that demands careful evaluation and prompt treatment. This article provides an overview of clinical evaluation and types of nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic interventions when managing acute agitation during pregnancy.
