An optimal control technique for single-phase grid-connected inverter

Abstract: This paper evaluates the performance of control technique based on Digital Pulse Width Modulation (DPWM) for single-phase grid-connected inverter application. Despite the importance of this synchronization technique, reports on its performance are scarce. The evaluation takes place in two simulation environments: ModelSim and MATLAB/Simulink.
