“…Since 2019, a recurring segment of the International Workshop on Learning Classifier Systems (IWLCS) is its organizers giving a presentation of an exhaustive overview of learning classifier system (LCS) research that was conducted over the past year. In 2020 and 2021 that presentation was accompanied by a survey workshop paper [36,37], a practice which we hereby continue.
