Hills-road network has an essential role in maintaining the flow of transportation and logistics in mountainous areas. Implementing the Long Segment Maintenance Contract (LSMC) is one step in producing better road services and performance. The success rate of PMS implementation can be seen from the road performance and the level of satisfaction of stakeholders consisting of owners, implementers, supervision consultants, and users. This research was conducted to determine stakeholders' level of interest and satisfaction in the implementation of LSMC in the mountain road network. The methods used are Importance Performance Analysis and Customer Satisfaction Index. As a case study, the hills road network in Cirebon-Kuningan-Ciamis, West Java, Indonesia, was chosen along 103.08 km. Questionnaires were distributed to all stakeholders in the implementation of LSCM in these sections. Data analysis was carried out on questionnaires obtained from the owner as many as three respondents, contractors four respondents, supervised seven respondents, and road users as many as 100 respondents. The results showed that, in general, the level of stakeholder importance was relatively high, with an average of 4.22, an average performance level of 3.70, and a CSI value of 86.9.% or very satisfactory. In comparison, road users' on-road performance is relatively high, with an average of 4.44 with, an average level of performance of 4.41, and a CSI value of 86.83%, or very satisfactory. Furthermore, the importance of road users' on-road response time is relatively high, with an average of 4.42, an average performance level of 4.41, and a CSI value of 86.09%, or very satisfactory. Attributes that greatly influence the opinion of road users and stakeholders on LSCM in the Hill Road Network are related to the control of runoff water and routine road maintenance.

The effectiveness of a maintenance management system can be measured by the way a function has achieved its intended objectives and generally evaluated based on the quality of the product or service provided, from the perspective of the user. The issues of high casualties in terms of personnel, millions of dollars in losses due to the unexpected shutdown of operations, environmental threats and the impact on the country's income should be addressed. Malaysian Oil and Gas Firm’s maintenance system efficiency practices, technology availability, the selection of suppliers, the influence of preventive maintenance on company performance and the rationale for choosing PM for downstream activities were considered in the interest of the nation. The primary purpose of this study is to use a qualitative methodology to examine PM procedures at a Malaysian oil and gas firm. The oil and gas sector is commonly linked with high-risk, cutting-edge technology projects that can have devastating economic and ecological effects if anything goes wrong. The study utilized the semi-structured interview with 10 identified oil and gas maintenance management personnels such as Managers, Supervisors and Staffs who are attached to Maintenance Department as the ‘gatekeepers’ as they are the one who are directly involved directly in maintenance management activities as well as preparing the reports and data with regards oil and gas companies maintenance management system used for the study. The result from the study stated that the personnel involved in maintenance activities appreciate the practices utilized however with the new methods introduced, the study also proposed, appropriate maintenance implementation as well as the involvement of several parties in aspects of planning and formulating maintenance policy up to the implementation stage in the oil and gas operators’ operation. The study can provide significant implications for theoretical, methodology and management involvement in terms of preventive maintenance contribution to organizational performance. This study analysed the issue raised in the implementation of preventative maintenance, specifically in Turnaround Maintenance in oil and gas company.

The severity of road damage, such as surface cracking or potholes putting drivers of moving vehicles at greater risk of collisions. This study aims to determine and propose the maintenance procedure and surface treatment activity carried out along Jalan Taman Putra, Jalan Bunga Raya and Jalan Perdana Utama in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. From a visual inspection, Jalan Bunga Raya and Jalan Perdana Utama was rated as B and required immediate repairs, while Rating C required to be fixed for user comfort on Jalan Taman Putra. Patch defects account for 45 % and 46 % of all defects on Jalan Taman Putra and Jalan Bunga Raya routes, respectively. Meanwhile, most defects on Jalan Perdana Utama were delamination, accounting for 38 % of all defects. The statistics on the number of road accidents show that pavement restoration work is effective when it results in a decrease in accidents between 2015 and 2021 by 42 % in Jalan Taman Putra, 33 % in Jalan Bunga Raya, and 12 % in Jalan Perdana Utama. Rehabilitating the roads had a favourable impact on Ampang Jaya, Selangor's low traffic accidents rate and raised levels of road safety. To improve road safety features, efficient supervision and maintenance efficiency are required.
