An ultrawideband TEM horn with dielectric filling characteristics investigation with the dependence on an aperture angle

Abstract: This article presents a study on the optimal aperture angle for the ultrawideband TEM horn with the dielectric filling. The electromagnetic simulation is performed at a wide range of frequencies and angles. Comparison of the considered parameters, such as radiation pattern and voltage standing wave ratio of the horn with and without dielectric filling allows defining optimal angles of the antenna.
