Abstract:The Diels–Alder reaction of three chiral dihydro‐2H‐[2,3‐a]oxazolopyridines with N‐methylmaleimide afforded the corresponding chiral cycloadducts as diastereomeric mixtures. In the presence of a solvent, some of the originally formed adducts underwent isomerisation to new isoquinuclidines.
